The Serbian Scout Association (Savez Izvidaca Srbije) are hosting an international jamboree next summer as part of their centenary celebrations. Following discussions with the UK International Commissioner and SIS, it has been agreed that SAMnet will support a UK Contingent in a similar way to 2006. |

SAMnet have registered with a online agency called "Easy Fundraising " which has negotiated deals with many online retailers (including the likes of Amazon, HMV, BA) so that if you buy goods (including such items as train/plane tickets) over the internet a percentage will help "good causes" (like SAMnet). Please help raise funds for SAMnet by using Easy Fundraising and selecting Serbian and Montenegrin Network as your chosen charity. |

SAMnet are in discussion with the Serbian Scouts as to the feasibility of running a competition for Patrols of Explorer Scouts over the same weekend as the Eurovision Song Contest.

A study trip is being planned for April/May 2008 to visit Montenegro and Western Serbia (including the Tara National Park). The main aim of the Study Visit is to facilitate Group to Group links and to allow UK Adults to visit some of the facilities available (campsites, activities etc). |
